OUR HEART

The purpose of the Special Need’s Ministry is to fulfill the purpose of Central Baptist Church by “unselfishly seeking out the needs of all people and to give aid and service to those needs in the name of Jesus Christ (Matthew 25:35-40)”, and to give individuals with disabilities the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and friend. As a ministry we strive to meet the needs of every person, of any age, with one or multiple physical and/or mental disabilities, who have difficulty functioning to their potential in the typical age-appropriate church classroom setting. We meet these needs by offering a specially designed classroom and curriculum, with many mainstreaming opportunities, in order to best share the message of Christ’s love with each individual and their families on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
